Full course description

When reading printed text, it is easy to visually recognize italic, bold, and underlined fonts. These changes in the font make it visually apparent that certain words or phrases have a distinct meaning. In contrast, when reading braille, it is impossible to convey emphasis through changes of the bumps on the page since braille bumps are all the same size. In the CCCAC Braille Font Attribution and Emphasis course, you will learn the special braille characters for bold, italic, and underlined text.
