Braille is a tactile method of reading and writing used by people who are blind or visually impaired. This course offers background on the origins of braille and introduces the foundational unit of braille, the Braille cell, and reviews how braille is created. In addition, learners are introduced to using Six-key entry in common braille transcription software, like Perky Duck and Duxbury to begin practicing and creating braille.
